We work with teams and organizations of all ages to educate coaches, athletes, and staff in Motor Preferences. Our goal is to help each program understand MPE and apply it throughout their team or organization in a practical, consistent way.

Jim Gasso is the Owner and Director of the Gasso MPE Center of Excellence in Norman, Oklahoma, where he has spent more than 15 years developing athletes of all ages through elite instruction in throwing mechanics, hitting, strength and conditioning, speed development, and overall athletic performance. Throughout a coaching and athletic administration career spanning more than four decades, Gasso has dedicated his life to helping athletes maximize their potential both on and off the field.
Gasso brings over 40 years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division I, NAIA, junior college, and high school levels. Most recently, he served as Head Softball Coach at Mid-America Christian University (MACU), where he guided the Evangels to one of the most successful seasons in program history. In 2024, MACU finished 37-17, recorded a program-best 27 conference victories, earned the school’s first-ever NAIA National Tournament appearance, and captured the program’s first NAIA National Tournament win.
His collegiate coaching career began as a graduate assistant football coach at Utah State University before serving in numerous coaching and athletic administration roles throughout his career. In addition to coaching, Gasso has extensive experience in athletic administration, sports management, athlete development, and organizational leadership.
Beyond the collegiate ranks, Gasso has served as an MLB Envoy Coach, working throughout Central and South America to help grow the game internationally. He also served as the State of Oklahoma Director of Scouting for Amateur Baseball Report and is certified through the National Pitching Association under renowned throwing expert Dr. Tom House, a pioneer in biomechanics, functional movement, and arm care.
At the University of Oklahoma, Gasso volunteered as the softball program’s strength and conditioning coach, working alongside one of the nation’s premier collegiate softball programs while helping develop championship-caliber student-athletes.
As the founder of the Gasso MPE Center of Excellence, Gasso has trained thousands of youth, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. His athlete development philosophy combines sound biomechanics, functional strength, injury prevention, mental toughness, and character development to help athletes reach their highest level of performance.
A respected teacher, mentor, and leader, Gasso is passionate about using athletics as a platform to impact lives. Alongside his wife, legendary University of Oklahoma Head Softball Coach Patty Gasso, he has devoted his career to developing not only successful athletes but confident, disciplined, and purpose-driven individuals. He has also volunteered for years in prison ministry throughout Oklahoma and remains committed to serving others through faith, leadership, and mentorship.
Gasso earned a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from California State University, Long Beach, and a master’s degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University.
Casey White serves as the Director of Performance at the Gasso MPE Center of Excellence, where he helps athletes develop through an individualized approach to strength and conditioning, hitting, nutrition, nervous system training, and overall performance.
Over the past five years, Casey has worked with hundreds of athletes across the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. In addition to his work with individual athletes, he also serves as a consultant for NCAA Division I college baseball and softball programs, as well as high schools across the country, helping coaches and organizations better understand athlete development, movement, performance, and training application.
Casey holds a master’s degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in strength and conditioning and sports nutrition. He has also completed numerous certifications across biomechanics, strength training, mobility, assessments, fascia, nervous system training, hitting, and pitching.
His coaching approach is built around helping athletes understand how they move, what they need, and how to train in a way that supports long-term development. Casey is passionate about creating environments where athletes feel empowered, educated, and confident in their ability to grow both physically and mentally.
